April & Aaron came to us from different cities in Ohio. There, they came together in a very uniquely 2000-and-something kind of way. While they had known each other in high school, it wasn’t until after they had started their professional lives that they started dating. And what was responsible you ask? Facebook! Yes, the social media network can be responsible for more than just your old roommate’s status updates. April was a late adopter to the site. When she arrived, Facebook made the suggestion that she “May Know” Aaron. The rest is history! When it came to planning their wedding, the two were familiar with Europe. Aaron had spent time in Germany for his job and setting aside the fact that the bride’s namesake is an infamously lovely month in Paris, the city happens to be April’s favorite. Their hotel looked out to an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower, making for an enchanted preparation experience. After a beautiful private ceremony, they shared a very sweet evening chatting and laughing with a group of twenty friends and family at no other than the famous Parisian macaron institution Ladurée. The newlyweds continued their European adventure with a honeymoon to Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
This dreamy confection was made specially by Ladurée for the couple. A prefect spring pastel pink enrobed a ‘Divin’ cake inside: macaron with nougat, nougat mousse and raspberries. (Yes, that is real and yes, it is delicious)
More Ladurée is a always sweet note to end upon. Congratulations April & Aaron!
